Wonderfully hopeful, friend. Just what I (and the friends I’m sharing this with today) need to hear.

I too am struggling with the “I didn’t choose to be alone” feelings. I’m missing him, but I’m also missing me. The strong, centered, self-propelled version of me I was before I met him.

I think losing someone during a pandemic is probably twice as hard. But I don’t know — so much is new and never experienced.

What I take heart in is the hope in this piece you’ve written. Thank you.
