This is excellently written, thought-provoking, and exactly the kind of wrestling I’m hoping for when I talk with other Christian parents. Thank you, Samantha! I don’t want the pat answers I got in my Sunday school class anymore. I don’t want that for my kids either. I want them to know that the opposite of doubt isn’t faith; it’s certainty, and sometimes certainty that looks like arrogance and feels like judgment. Thank you for this judgment-free point-of-view that is so, so refreshing for my soul (especially the child-like part)! I needed that.
