Thanks for sharing your thoughts, David. Here in the U.S., "sorry" is a pretty common word to slip out of mouths too -- especially for women. We apologize so much that it's not only lost its sincerity, it feels (to me anyway) like it's a relinquishment of power. So interesting how language can hold so much, right?
