I can so empathize! For the last two years following my divorce, I’ve been playing A LOT of Ultimate frisbee. I love it! I get to be an aggressive female in a mostly male world and it is not only accepted, it is celebrated! But last week I tore my ACL playing (awesome) defense. I’m struggling to keep a good attitude… especially now that one of my main happy fixes is gone. My plan is to hang in there, and to keep in mind that the last several years might not have brought me so much emotional progress of not for this physical release. You hang in there too!
